In addition to funding sterilization/vaccination clinics and doing our own direct rescue work, we provide emergency financial aid for dog/cat food, flea/tick medications and veterinary care to verified, on-the-ground rescue groups, sanctuaries and shelters.
In 2024, in response to requests for assistance, we provided financial aid to Beach Dog Rescue of Costa Maya (Merida), Black Sheep Sanctuary (Tulum area), Accion Animal (Playa del Carmen), SOS el ARCA (Playa del Carmen), No Mas Perritos (Chelem), Pancitas Felices (Chetumal), and Refugio Animal Holobx (Holbox).
2025 Update: We are now focused on providing emergency aid to verified, on-the-ground rescue and TNR groups operated by Mexican nationals. We believe it is vital to support these organizations that are trying to take responsibility for the plight of homeless dogs and cats in their own communities and typically operate on shoestring budgets. In 2025, we have provided aid to Pancitas Felices (Chetumal) and Huella Rojo (Tulum). We hope to verify more nationally-run groups soon so that we can expand our support.
