In addition to funding sterilization clinics and some direct rescue work, we provide emergency financial aid to on-the-ground rescue groups, sanctuaries and shelters for dog/cat food and vet bills. Gabyy fosters four rescue dogs in Tulum. Since she doesn’t have room to take in any more fosters, she operates her own mini trap/neuter/release program. We help her with the cost of dog food, veterinary services and medications. In 2024, we also provided emergency financial aid to Beach Dog Rescue of Costa Maya (Merida), Black Sheep Sanctuary (Tulum area), Accion Animal (Playa del Carmen), SOS el ARCA (Playa del Carmen) and No Mas Perritos (Chelem).
